I couldn’t agree more! When I discovered the detriment of notifications overload, I set my phone to go to auto-silence for every singe notification at 8pm and stay that way until 8am. Else one can find themselves spending hours on end scrolling through them. Like you said, if it’s urgent, they’ll call. In my case only a few contacts I have listed as emergency are given a free pass to override the setting, or if someone calls more than twice within 2 minutes, so cool LOL. I’m which case none ever does. And I recently discovered I can block seeing people’s watsap statuses. Funny your App needs to remind you to meditate😅…but sometimes that’s how we are, e.g. inadvertently scrolls through statuses back and forth, so sometimes one needs to force themselves into mindfulness like your meditation App. So I silenced all watsap statuses, I can’t see any, the downside is that I can’t post any status either, and my contacts are mor linked to watsap…but oh how refreshing the last one week has been without the videos, pics, memes, etc distractions…and me struggling not to post statuses, reminding myswlf of the promise I made to myself…but when one masters the art of blocking unwanted notifications, with time it becomes swcind nature and you don’t feel like you’re missing out, and life is more peaceful!!…I loved this article!! Thanks for sharing it!
