Don’t Dim Down — You’re Not Too Much

Your strength isn’t the problem. Your light isn’t too much. Your pain still counts — and you were never meant to shrink for others’ comfort.

Why do we shrink ourselves just to fit into spaces that were never meant for us? Too often, we silence our truth or minimize our struggles just to make others feel better.

Don’t dim your light just to make someone else seem brighter.
Like diamonds, you were meant to shine.
You were not made to flicker. Instead, you were made to burn bright.

You were meant to be strong.
If your strength and uniqueness scare off someone and make them feel inferior,
That’s their problem — not yours.

You’re allowed to be powerful.
You’re allowed to feel deeply.
You’re not “too much,” you’re just enough as you are.

The only person who wants a weak friend is a weak person.
If you have to lower yourself to someone’s level — not because you want to meet them halfway in a good way — but because you’re expected to bow to their version of you,
Then at some point…
